Your first visit involves taking your case history, looking at your current diet, exercise any medication you are taking, fluid consumption etc. The therapist will then give a full explanation of the procedure. You do not need to do anything special in advance of your visit, although results may be more rapidly achieved if you follow a colon cleansing programme.

The colonic procedure itself will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, during which warmed water will be gently introduced into the colon via the rectum. The therapist may use gentle massage or other techniques to help stimulate the release of stored matter.

At all times, your modesty is preserved by the use of a gown and large towel. Herbal and Probiotic remedies may be introduced as part of your treatment and your therapist may advise beneficial dietary changes to further enhance your wellbeing.
